Mixed Methods Research
Closing the gap between the data and the decisions to be made.
Our approach to mixed methods research
Increasingly the pharmaceutical industry is applying mixed methods research in its clinical and market research activities. However, these studies can be complex and operationally challenging, often requiring a wider spread of research skills and more time.
With expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, we bring a rigorous approach to the coupling of the different data sets using a unique multi-stage framework that enables communicating the research findings as a compelling narrative which closes the gap between the data and the decisions to be made by facilitation of a more effective decision-making process.
Why use Mixed methods?
Mixed methods approach is the combination and integration of qualitative and quantitative methods in the same study. The overall purpose of this approach is that the use of quantitative and qualitative methodologies in combination provides a better understanding of the research question than either approach alone. Through the triangulating of one set of results with another can enhance the validity of inferences. the research question’
